Astola Island - The Island Of Seven Hills

Astola is Situated in the least populated but the largest province of Pakistan "Balochistan". Balochistan is land of people with culture, Old cuisines, tradition , and hospitality. It's blessed not only with natural resources but also with majistic sites that's ideal for tourism and attracts people not only from within Pakistan but across the world.

Astola is a small but an exotic site, which is basically an Island that's totally inhabited by people. Its situated in arabic sea. Its is only few kilometers away from Pasni. Astola is considered to be the largest offshore Island in Pakistan. Tourist and people reach Astola from Pasni by using Boats (Motorized) they way itself to Astola is a pure adventure.


The earliest mention in the history of Astola Island  is in the account kept on a Admiral of Alexander the Great who was suppose to  explore Arabian sea Coasts. The Sailors in fleet of the admiral were frightened about the legends told about the vacant Island totally bare of humans.

The Island has 7 Hills and is a plateau Unlike your normal Islands, and these 7 hills give astola Island its second name in Balochi directly translated as "The Island of Seven Hills" The Island has numerous caves and coves on different places which are just beautiful and lavish.

Pakistan has also installed a lighthouse for passers which is also a tourist attraction. If your'e a tourist and want to capture the beautyof this Island, don't forget  to pick your drone camera, otherwise you're going to miss it dearly. Not only this Island presents majistic beauty but also something you don't see everywhere, which makes it an ideal place to visit.
